Firstly, Goa is divided into North Goa and South Goa. While North Goa has many beaches, tourists visit these famous beaches which are known to have a crazy nightlife, best food and many places to see the Southern Goa has beaches with less nightlife, serene and calm beach and fewer tourists visiting these regions.

Some of the famous beach places of Goa where one needs to experience despite the crowds is Vagator, Anjuna, Baga, Calangute etc. And all these beaches are well connected by Bus mode of transport from many regions.

If you wish to travel to Goa for the first time and not want to spend travelling within Goa for a long time then I recommend you to stay at the Anjuna, Calangute, Baga regions of Goa. But if you wish to explore some offbeat destination then get ready to spend some time travelling within as the offbeat destinations are located at Northern and Southern part of Goa where it takes around an hour or two from these mentioned places.

Goa is well connected via Airways, Railways and Roadways. Dabolim International Airport is the only airport in Goa which has air services from Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai and many other domestic destinations and international destinations include Sharjah, Kazan, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Muscat, Doha, London-Gatwick, Manchester etc. The flight services from Russia and Britain are seasonal or chartered services where one can visit checking their respective flight services.

Via railways, Goa has the main Vasco da Gama station and additional stops include Madagaon Junction, Majorda Junction etc. These are located at different places, however, before booking the required place check if there are stops to the nearest station. For example, if you book to the North of Goa and the station you booked at Vasco da Gama then you need to travel another 3-4 hours to reach North Goa. Hence, we suggest you book nearest railway station to the place which you booked.

Via Roadways, there are a lot of buses plying from Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad etc. Some of the main bus stands in Goa include Panaji Bus Stand, Margao Bus Stand, Vasco Bus Stand, Mapusa Bus Stand, Cancona Bus Stand etc. Many domestic buses ply here so you are well connected to various parts of Goa and the ticket prices are cheap, however, you need to be ready to sit in a crowded bus which leads to many touristic places to Goa.
